After years of isolation and a long, cold winter in Chicago, Jamie Gold and Anna Romo noticed the strong desire for reconnection. As we get ready to reemerge from our hermit-homes, the question we found ourselves asking was... "Is there a way to meet and hang out with people who have the same values and interests as us?"
We found it a challenge to find others our age who are are less interested in partying at bars and drinking as the only social activity - and more of a focus on life's beauty, nature, and our own personal development and evolution. So... we built the opportunities!
While Anna was creating beautiful physical spaces in Chicago, Jamie created the online counterparts. Both women have had years of experience hosting transformative workshops, healing sessions, and creating fun tools and practices for everyday self-care.
At Anna's shop, Virtue Alchemy Candle Co., a community of hosts create monthly events that include candle-making, how to read tarot cards, sound baths, meditations, yoga, embroidery, seasonal crafts, and more.
